Michael J. Epstein - CEO
Michael's vision for success, coupled with his insatiable drive to save companies money, complements the Financial Recovery Services' management team. After following a lengthy diving career, Michael used his training disciplines adopted from world-renowned Olympic coach Ron O'Brien and applied them to all pursuits. For nine years, Michael worked as the Chief Operating Officer at a department of defense contractor where he implemented numerous cost-saving programs that drove profits straight to the bottom line. His astute recommendations helped bring the company into the world of ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems.
His fierce determination and extensive experience led him to help grow what is now one of America's leading class action recovery firms—a natural transition that convinced him and his partners to develop Financial Recovery Services, Inc.
Glenn L Guior, Esq. - General Counsel
A tenacious advocator, Glenn contributes a wealth of legal and corporate expertise to Financial Recovery Services. His impressive background includes over twenty years experience as a senior in-house counsel and lead labor and employee relations executive with the pharmaceutical giant, Merck & Co., Inc. Glenn spent several years working as an attorney with the law firms of Grotta, Glassman & Hoffman, and Lawlor & Buchalter, where he represented many clients, including a host of federal and state government agencies, in a variety of litigation matters.
Glenn repeatedly demonstrates his exceptional negotiation skills and commitment to clients. A member of the New York and New Jersey Bar Associations since 1983, Glenn holds a J.D. from Washington University, and a B.S. from Cornell University.
Michael G. Koppy, Executive Vice President
Michael brings a wealth of senior level entrepreneurial experience with a special focus and expertise in Sales and Marketing. He has held high-level positions that include leading large teams of business development specialists at a host of well established financial consulting and recovery organizations. Over the years, his demonstrated commitment to clients has resulted in numerous multi-million dollar recoveries and long-term business and professional relationships with C-level executives at many Fortune 500 companies. Michael?s demonstrated success has earned these corporations trust and respect and as an FRS partner, these company executives routinely seek him out for his counsel and services.
Michael has an unusual strength in the loyalty he provides and receives from his team and clients. His special interests include a commitment to the environment, which manifests into the "Green Businesses" he has founded (mygogreendrycleaners.com).
Michael J. Mallon, CPA
Michael brings an abundance of accounting prowess to Financial Recovery Services. With a background as senior auditor for Ernst & Young in New York City, Michael's unparalleled ability to hunt down, spot, and reconcile accounting errors became legendary. He spent numerous years as Accounting and Financial Reporting Supervisor for Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, an international law firm with over twenty offices and 1300 lawyers worldwide. Since 1998, Michael has been in private practice, successfully representing both individuals and corporations before the Internal Revenue Service.
Michael's vigilant style of tax review and preparation is directly responsible for frequent discoveries made in the client's favor netting significant refunds. As a seasoned auditor, Michael provides additional value to clients by way of financial insight and analysis.
Adlai Carrasco, VP Data Center Services
Adlai Carrasco comes to FRS with 25 years experience in the financial industry, with senior management positions in sales, business development, strategic partnerships, product strategy and operations. Adlai started his career in Operations at Credit Suisse in NY, where he spent 10 years and ultimately became a Bond Trader for Fixed Income Securities. From there, he spent 3 years at Thomson Financial, where he was responsible for the Product Management group and product strategy. Adlai then joined the New York Stock Exchange, and spent 10 years as a Managing Director, leading Sales, Product Development and Product Management teams for all commercial business units, including market data services, compliance services and technology/managed hosting services. Most recently, he was with Telx in NY, a data center and collocation company, advising various types of enterprise organizations on their technology, infrastructure and telecommunications strategy. Adlai has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Fordham University and is fluent in Spanish.
